A. Snowden McFall - More Books To Write, More People To Learn From
Visit Website

1) What do you believe makes you special or interesting? My enthusiasm is the one quality people always comment on; my ability to be positive in the face of adversity; my deep commitment to helping others improve their lives; my creativity and love of color; my Fired up! energy.

2) What kind of effect have you had, or would like to have on the world?
It has always been my intention to make a positive difference in the world. In 1991, I was named National Women in Business Advocate of the Year by the Small Business Administration for my volunteer work running the non-profit group Success for Women Entrepreneurs, helping women get into business and stay successful. (This was while I was building my own business).

I have written 4 books, and my flagship book, Fired Up! How to Succeed by Making Your Dreams come True has sold over 60,000 copies. I have received many wonderful calls, letters and emails from strangers who have been moved by the book and have changed their lives more positively.

As a speaker, I have addressed thousands over the past 17 years, and am often told that I inspire others to believe in themselves more and keep going.

3) What events shaped or changed your life?
Growing up in an alcoholic family; my mother was terminally ill from the time I was 6-21 and then she died. Survived corporate takeover attempt in 1987. Attending the first Southern Global Citizens Circle and meeting Archbishop Tutu, Andrew Young, John Hume and Coretta Scott King.

4) Did you overcome obstacles - take risks - get lucky?
Overcame lots of obstacles; took a great deal of personal development seminars, did therapy and took many, many risks.

5) What have you done that no one would guess you'd done upon first meeting you? Walked on hot coals. Taught school in Jamaica at age 16. Never had children.

6) What is still left to be done in your life? I have been asked to speak to several thousand impoverished women business owners in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. I really want to make that happen and get sponsorship money for that. More books to write, more people to learn from, more traveling to be done, more service to be done. Help make the world a greener place. Help stop animal and child abuse and human trafficking.
