1) What do you believe makes you special or interesting? I've been laid off three times and decided to start my own business at 58. Started Winds of Change Consulting, LLC with 10 hours of medical marketing for a pain group, joined National Speaker's Association as a candidate and Toastmasters in order to build a speaking career. Have since built my consulting to full time, plus have become a professional speaker on Successful Transitions and Humor, Laughter. Wrote a book called Laid Off? Don't Stress! How to Get from Mad to Glad. Became a Certified Laughter Leader a year ago and am having the time of my life. Oh, did I tell you I'm an avid fly fisher and lead a retreat in Arizona called Casting for Recovery for breast cancer survivors?

2) What kind of effect have you had, or would like to have on the world? I believe I have contagious enthusiasm and have a passion for helping others find their passion and live life on purpose with gladness.

3) What events shaped or changed your life?
My life started off the typical American woman of the 60s. I got my BS in education - taught and coached Physical Education and met my husband of 41 years, and had two boys. I was able to stay at home with them and baked bread, cookies - truly the Harriett of Ozzie and Harriet. Then went back to school for a second degree in Business, came to Arizona and eventually became a Nursing Home Administrator of which was my first firing. After dusting myself off, got back up and went back to work - thus through the next 15 years got laid off a total of 3 times!! Finally said, Ok God, what's my next great adventure?

4) Did you overcome obstacles - take risks - get lucky?
All of the above. I am a bounce back expert! I took a risk by starting my business with nothing except my own experience and degree and a husband who backed me. Really, Gerry had retired in June and I was going to keep him in the manner in which he was meant to be kept!! 6 months later, I was laid off, my mother died and I ended up having a full hip replacement - THEN and only THEN I started my business.

5) What have you done that no one would guess you'd done upon first meeting you?
I'm a certified white faced clown. I'm an avid woman fly fisher and I'm a certified laughter leader I'm basically a very serious teacher, nursing home administrator, accountant, etc. Who'd have thought?

6) What is still left to be done in your life? Oh there is so much. My husband and I just bought an Airstream and I eventually want to buy a smaller one and travel with Wally Byram and teach Laughter Sessions. I just became a distributor of SeneGence long lasting Anti-Aging products. I still want to get back into singing and theater.
